European Shnat Mitzvah Programme
Shnat Mitzvah is a ready-to-run, professionally designed framework for Jewish educators and facilitators to guide teens through a meaningful Bnei Mitzvah year.
The program combines experiential Jewish education with practical identity development. Teens explore Jewish culture, history, and social responsibility through active sessions that build belonging, confidence, and peer connection.
Our graduates feel connected to their own values, as well as to their communities and to the wider Jewish story.
We know (and love!) that every community is different. At Machon Kehilot, we work with your facilitators to adapt the sessions to suit your real-life context, supporting a confident delivery and strong teen engagement.

What We Need From You
A Group of Teens
Teens aged 11-13 ready to embark on their Bar/Bat Mitzvah journey (Hebrew or local language speakers).
Local Leadership
1–2 committed facilitators to lead the program.
Engagement
Host local sessions and participate in occasional joint events.

תוכנית שנת מצווה אירופית
שנת מצוות היא שנה משמעותית בחיי בני ובנות נוער, והזדמנות לצאת למסע ייחודי המחבר בין סיפורם האישי לבין סיפור תרבותי משותף. במהלך התוכנית מוזמנים המשתתפים להתמודד עם אתגרי גיל ההתבגרות, להעמיק את ההיכרות עם שורשיהם המשפחתיים ועם מעגלי זהותם, ולשאוב השראה לעשייה ולמעורבות בקהילה ובסביבה. כדי לאפשר זאת, התוכנית מכשירה דמויות מובילות מקהילות ברחבי אירופה ליזום, להוביל ולהנחות שנת מצווה מקומית — סדרת פעילויות ואירועים לבנות ולבנים בגילאי 11–14, ובחלקה גם להוריהם.
התוכנית נשענת על ניסיון רב שנים בעבודה עם בני ובנות נוער ועם משפחות בקהילות ישראליות באירופה, ונבנתה מתוך היכרות עמוקה עם צרכיהם הייחודיים של בני הנוער ושל הוריהם כאחד.

הכשרה מקצועית
הכשרה ייעודית בעברית ובאנגלית הכוללת מפגשי תוכן במגוון נושאים: מעגלי זהות ושייכות, מקורות עתיקים וחדשים, גיל ההתבגרות, סיפורי משפחה ומיומנויות הנחיה.
בנוסף, המנחים והמנחות יקבלו ליווי וכלים מעשיים לעבודתם החינוכית כולל הובלת תהליכים בקהילה, עבודה עם הורים ובני נוער וארגון פעילויות חינוכיות.
מערכי פעילות מוכנים לשימוש
14 יחידות לימוד איכותיות בנושאים שונים – מותאמות לבני ובנות הנוער בקהילה.
חיבורים חוצי גבולות
מפגשים וירטואליים ופעילויות משותפות עם קבוצות שנת מצווה מכל רחבי אירופה.
תמיכה כספית
גישה למענקים קטנים המסייעים בהפעלת התוכנית.
הצעה לטקס קהילתי
ליווי בבניית אירוע שיא משמעותי בשיתוף המשפחות והקהילה.
